The CACC Academy was started in 2004 following the club 1st XI's promotion to the Surrey Championship Premier Division. It is the Academy's aim to ensure that we have enough coaches to be able to coach members efficiently, with a coach to player ratio of no more than 1:10. This allows us to offer focused coaching to all and we aim to ensure that every member has the opportunity to learn, improve and participate at all times. It is our intention to restrict membership if we are unable to satisfy this ratio.

Our teams compete in the West Surrey Youth Cricket League. Our Academy night is Friday, when all age groups train, and there is often a match for the younger players going on. The Bar is open and there is an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and socialise with other Academy parents.

The Academy season runs from the end of April until the beginning of September. Home matches usually take place on weekday evenings or Sunday mornings. We also run winter nets, usually during February and March. Details will be published on the website in early January for the upcoming Spring.
