#/Today(1)/# Dear #/Text(First Name,,Member)/#, With Weybridge, Reigate Priory and Spencer all winning at the weekend, the A's needed a solid victory against Wimbledon at the weekend to stay within the running. The boys did us proud by bowling them out for 124 runs off 55.1 overs with Obi taking 5 wickets for just 45 runs. Benny and his team stepped in to score 125-4 and take the win within 30 overs with Prich scoring a very respectable 66. This now places us 4th in the league with 29 points. The second XI also enjoyed another win by demolishing Dorking away. In to bat first, we notched up 181-9 in 50.5 overs with Tim Liddington scoring 58. Dorking were summarily dismissed for just 34 runs in 16.4 overs with Daniel Lane taking 5 wickets for 16 runs. This win has strengthened the 2nds rise up the Surrey 2nd XI Division 2 tables placing them 4th, theoretically one win from the top of their league.

Our First XI win against Wimbledon sees us sees us rise 2 places to 4th with Weybridge still at their top position with 53 points. Reigate Priory still sit 2nd with 48 and Spencer retain their 3rd place with 44 points. Our win sees Wimbledon fall to 5th with 28 points with Malden Wanderers chasing hard in 6th place with 28 points. Guidford are just ahaed of us in 5th place with 19 points. Guildford (19), Normandy (15), Esher (15) and Banstead (5) make up the final 4. The Second XI (playing in 2nd XI Division 2) have moved up another place to 4th out of 20 with 42 points. Old Whitgiftians maintain their top spot with 54 points with Leatherhead holding 2nd with the same points. Worcester Park's come back sees them regain 3rd place with 35 points.
