| At
long last the sunday side have won their 1st game of the
season.Ably captained by Simon Wilson they bowled out OK
Blockers for 173 with the wickets being shared by all the
bowlers. The colonial boy and JL made a good start until
Gib was hoodwinked by a fridge. JL went on to make a hard
hitting 53 (note Sat Capt) and the 2 youngest members of
the side came together (Baby Joel and Tom Collins) with a
match winning partnership, ably assisted by their Dads as
umpires. A very good game, played in a marvellous spirit,
was had by all. |
