Cobham Avorians Cricket Club
Convent Lane, Cobham.

Nestling in the woods of Burhill Estate in Cobham and adjoining Notre Dame school, the Avorians are a cricket club embued with a rich history and a spirit which shows our passion for the game. Having formed in 1928, the club has grown over the years to now boast two adult Saturday XI's, a Sunday team and a thriving Colts section providing regular games and training for nearly a hundred local boys and girls. New for 2012, we will also be fielding a side in the Thameside Sunday League, with the aim of giving our older colts and young adult players the chance to ease their way into competitive cricket.

We are currently seeking a Player/Coach for 2012. If you are resident in the UK, hold a minimum of ECB Level 2 coaching qualifications and would like to "be in at the start of something special", then please contact us, providing brief details of your playing and coaching achievements to date.

Clubhouse and Bar

Our lively and friendly clubhouse is always a great retreat from Friday evenings onwards with a bar that boasts a wide selection of beer, cider and chilled wine. If you would like to hire the clubhouse please contact us.

Colts Academy

Training sessions take place on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm from the end of April until the beginning of September. All interested boys and girls are welcome to join the Academy.
